GB govt utilising all resources for welfare of people, says minister

GILGIT: The Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Legislative Assembly Provincial Minister Rana Farman Ali said on Wednesday that the provincial government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), in collaboration with the federal government, is tirelessly working for the welfare and development of the area.

Talking to reporters, the provincial minister said the government was utilising all its resources to ensure the welfare of the local population. He said that Pakistan Sweet Homes have been constructed in GB with the help of Baitul Mal and all necessary facilities have been provided therein for the uplift of the locals.

The minister further said that unemployed people of the region would be provided suitable jobs through different government initiatives. The GB government was also making efforts to strengthen local institutions which would automatically create employment opportunities for the local population, he added.
